Phi Theta Kappa Attends Texas Honors Institute
TVCC Iota Alpha chapter of Phi Theta Kappa officers Scott Keon and Emily Shields attended the Texas Region Honors Institute at Schreiner University in Kerrville in July, where they presented a workshop called “Phi Theta Kappa 101.”
They were accompanied by chapter sponsor Dr. Nancy Long. Long, who served as a seminar leader and led the District III Meeting. Shields was one of 11 PTK members statewide who were awarded STAR scholarships for their applications and service to the Texas Region.
