Breanne Lane, BS, NREMT-P
EMD Director / Paramedic Instructor
Mrs. Lane began her EMS career in South Dakota where she obtained her EMT certification and ran with a volunteer ambulance service. She then went to Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska for paramedic certification. Then, began working at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler Texas. There she started teaching EMT classes and helping with Paramedic. She moved on to teach at Tyler Junior College. During this time, she obtained her Bachelors in Emergency Medical Services from Creighton University.
Mrs. Lane is the EMS Director and a Paramedic Instructor at TVCC. Within the role, she helps to create program schedules and implementation of the curriculum. The EMS department strives to stay current on the changing requirements of EMS and expectations within the field. The department also works with the local EMS providers and fire departments to make sure the students finish the program with a strong skill set.
She really enjoys EMS and everything that comes along with it. She loves passing that passion along to her students. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and cooking.
