Tangie Anderson
Vocational Nursing Program Coordinator

 

Tangie Anderson is an Alumni of Trinity Valley Community College, where she graduated with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in 1997, from the Kaufman Health Science Center. Directly after graduation she accepted a position at Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman, which was next door to the nursing campus. She started as a staff nurse on the Med/Surg Unit, and then after a few years accepted the position as charge nurse for that unit. She later cross-trained for a position as OR Circulator and PACU nurse. After 22 years in practice, she accepted the position as Vocational Nursing Program Coordinator, while continuing to take call at Kaufman hospital next door.

She is married with 4 children and 8 grandchildren. She has lived in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area all of her life, with the last 30 years being in Kaufman, Texas.
