Our mission is to serve the educational needs of Trinity Valley Community College by assisting faculty and staff in securing and utilizing both external and internal resources for teaching, public service and outreach initiatives. Under the direction of the Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Executive Director of the TVCC Foundation, grant initiatives are developed and managed in compliance with applicable state, federal and local policies and requirements.

Trinity Valley Community College faculty and staff are encouraged to work with Dr. Kristen Bennett, MBA, CFRE, Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Executive Director of the TVCC Foundation to identify state, local and federal funding sources and to prepare and submit proposals for institutional support. The strongest proposals are those written with a collaborative effort and by those in the field of expertise of the grant RFP. If you have a grant need or are interested in becoming a project lead on a grant, email it to Kristen Bennett

Kristen will reach out on an ongoing basis regarding grants that may be of interest to your department. A grants calendar is kept on grants being applied for each year. This calendar fills up fast, so share your grant opportunities early. Kristen will initiate and serve as a grant writer and coordinator with all of TVCC's fellow grant writers. Please contact Kristen with any questions or clarifications you need.

You MUST review the Grants Policies and Procedures Manual before proceeding with pursuing any grants on behalf of TVCC or TVCC Foundation.

Grant funding makes it possible for the college to launch new initiatives, support existing programs, and provide a quality education to its students.  NO grants are to be applied for or amended on behalf of TVCC or the TVCC Foundation without permission of the grants office, business office and President of TVCC.
