ACCOUNTING QUICKBOOKS OCCUPATIONAL
SKILLS ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
Occupational skills achievement awards (OSA) are locally approved sequences of credit
courses totaling 9-14 semester credit hours (SCH). The goal of the award is to provide entry
level employment skills or industry certifications within a shortened period of time. These
awards meet the minimum standard for program length specified by the Texas Workforce
Commission for the federal Workforce Investment Opportunity Act (WIOA) program.
Students successfully completing the accounting OSA will be eligible for the following industry
certificate exam:
Intuit QuickBooks Certified User
Prerequisites required: BCIS 1305 Business Computer Applications required for ITSW 1304
