ASSOCIATE OF ARTS DEGREE (AAT), TEACHING MAJOR
The Associate of Arts Degree (AAT), Teaching major is a specialized degree designed for
students desiring to enter the teaching profession. It provides students seeking a
baccalaureate degree and teacher certification a fully transferable degree to Texas state
universities that have educator preparation programs.
Three AAT areas of specialization are offered:

4-8, EC-12 special education 8-12
2.
Other EC-12 other than special education
3.
EC-6
