The Computer Science department of Trinity Valley Community College is dedicated to provide a comprehensive selection of computer and technology-related programs using a variety of delivery formats (lecture and online). The purpose of our curriculum is to prepare students for either entry-level positions in a specific computer field, or transfer to a four-year college or university.

According to the most recent publication of the U.S. Department of Labor's  Occupational Outlook Handbook, from 2016 to 2026 employment of computer support specialists is expected to grow 11 percent, network and computer systems administrators is expected to grow 6 percent, and information security analysts (28%), web developers (15%), and computer network architects (6%).  The following videos provides additional information on computer careers in the State of Texas.
