NOTICE OF MEETING

The Board of Trustees of Trinity Valley Community College will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2018, in the Board Room of the Orval Pirtle Administration Building, Athens, Texas.  Dinner will be served for the Board Members in the Administration Building Conference Room at 6:30 p.m. where no business will be discussed.

The Board of Trustees may take formal action as to any of the items listed below:

1.    Open meeting with prayer.

2.    Consider public comments.

3.    President’s Report.
a. Board Meeting/Tax Rate/Budget Workshop – August 15 – 6:00 p.m. Sandwiches and 6:30 meeting 
b. Summer Graduation – August 17th 6:30 p.m.at Athens High School Gymnasium. 

4.       Consider minutes of the June 25, 2018 meeting.

5.     Consider business, financial, and investment reports for June 2018.

6.     Consider and discuss election of Board of Trustees officers.

7.    Consider and discuss Notice to Proceed for Randall Scott Architects, Inc. on renovation of Building “B” at the Terrell Hospital for the TVCC/Terrell Health Science Academy. 

8.    Consider and discuss renewal of Athletic Insurance.

9.    Provide update, review, and discuss the 2018-19 budget proposal.

10.    Consider and discuss Grounds/Landscaping vendor contract.

11.    Consider and discuss TASB 34 board policy updates.

12.    Consider and discuss personnel matters.

13.    Convene to executive session to discuss personnel in accordance with Govt. Code 551.074.
