NOTICE OF MEETING
  
The Board of Trustees of Trinity Valley Community College will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016, in the Board Room of the Orval Pirtle Administration Building, Athens, TX.  Dinner will be served for the Board Members in the Administrative Building Conference Room at 6:30 p.m., where no business will be discussed.
 
The Board of Trustees may take formal action as to any of the items listed below:
 
1.    Open meeting with prayer.
2.    Consider public comments.
3.    Public Information Report.
4.    President’s Report.
      a. Recognition of State Representative elect Lance Gooden
      b. Play 4 Kay
      c. NJCAA Tournament results
      d. Houston Livestock Show results
      e. TDCJ at the Palestine Workforce Center
      f. Media/communication initiative
      g. Rip Drumgoole Ballpark Dedication – April 9^th (weather permitting)
      h. TVCC Theater Production – Lucky Stiff – April 7 – 10
       i.  Next Board meeting – April 25^th.
5.    Consider minutes of the February 28, 2016 meeting and the minutes of the March 7, 2016 special meeting.
6.    Consider business, financial, and investment reports for February 2016.
7.    Consider and discuss tax abatement requests from the Terrell Economic Development Corporation on behalf of Oldcastle Building Envelope, Madix, and Walmart DC.
8.    Consider and discuss canceling the Board of Trustees election in Districts 6, 7, and 9 as no other candidates have applied for election.
9.    Consider and discuss renewal of the custodial services contract with McLemore.
10.  Consider and discuss the Terrell Hospital cost analysis and pro forma.
11.  Closed meeting to discuss land and/or personnel matters in accordance with Govt. Codes 551.072 and 551.074.
12.  Consider, discuss, and take any necessary action on the following matters:
 
         a. Retirements/Resignations/Reductions in Force
             (1) Raymond Lee Nicholson, Campus Police Sergeant
             (2) Rebecca Huff, Academic/Workforce Advisor
 
         b. New hires
             (1) Annette Faulk, Director, Human Resources
