It is important to set the Browser to Enable or allow Java Script to be run on your machine.  WebCT will not function properly if Java Scripts are not enabled.  To enable Java Scripts please follow these directions:

Netscape Communicator (Navigator 4.5) - Go to Edit > Preferences. Choose Advanced. Click on the Enable Java and Enable Javascript boxes. Click on OK.

Internet Explorer 4.x or 5.0 - Go to Tools > Internet Options. Choose the Advanced tab. From the long list of options find Java VM and from there enable the Java compiler.
