WebCT at TVCC

WebCT Established

In the summer of 2000, TVCC selected WebCT as the software product that will be used to deliver distance learning courses over the internet to our students. TVCC acquired a three year license for WebCT with the assistance of a grant provided by the Virtual College of Texas.  A Dell 2400 dual processor Pentium server was purchased out of local funds to provide the hardware platform for WebCT.  The new server named courses at the URL https://ecourses.tvcc.edu went into service in September of 2000.
