- Registration forms that are mailed in will receive email
confirmation if email address is provided; if no email address
is provided, confirmation will then be made by phone. It is my
responsibility to provide a working email address with spam
settings set to allow emails from the tvcc.edu domain to be
received. If I do not receive an email with the subject line
“HESI Appointment Confirmation” by the 7th business day after
mailing my registration, I will call to verify its receipt or
check my spam folder since some email servers will direct TVCC
appointment confirmations to that folder.
- It is my responsibility to phone the Testing Center
(903.675.6385) at least 48 hours prior to first choice provided
to confirm appointment.
- It my responsibility to arrive no later than fifteen (15)
minutes prior to the exam time for check-in. If I arrive later
than this check-in time, I may lose my appointment and
forfeiture of exam fees.
- If for some reason I must reschedule, I will contact the TVCC
Testing Center in Athens (903.675.6385) no later than two (2)
business days prior to my originally scheduled test date. If I
fail to reschedule or cancel at least two business days in
advance, I will be required to pay another $45 exam fee in order
to reschedule.
- I understand the HESI exam may not be attempted more than 2
times (initial test and one retest) in an academic year. The
initial test and any retest must be at least two months apart. I
also understand that when I retest, I must retake all three
required parts, not just the section(s) I did not pass on the
first attempt.
- I understand that I can only attempt the A&P
section of the HESI exam one time for purposes of
updating science courses that are more than five
years old. If I do not pass this section
with a 75 percent or higher, I can still choose to
take the pathophysiology course or reattempt the
science courses that are more than five years old.
- I understand that the copy of the HESI scores I receive from
TVCC after I test cannot be submitted with my application. This
is my permanent copy to keep for my records.
- I UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE TEST FEE IS NONREFUNDABLE.
I ALSO UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IF I DO NOT RESCHEDULE AT
LEAST TWO (2) BUSINESS DAYS (BUT NO LATER THAN 48 HOURS) PRIOR
TO MY SCHEDULED TEST DATE AND TIME, I WILL FORFEIT THE $45 EXAM
FEE AND WILL HAVE TO REPAY IN ORDER TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER TEST
DATE. I UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IF I DO NOT PASS ALL
THREE REQUIRED SECTIONS THAT I MUST ATTEMPT ALL THREE SECTIONS
AGAIN WHEN I RETEST.
