test without a court order that includes a
case/cause/docket number on it.
Fees:
All GED testing fees must be paid in advance.
The fee for the test administration is $75.00.
Confirmation of an exam date is not given until

Each examinee must present a valid (photo) Texas

military photo ID or a valid passport is acceptable
if examinee has no Texas Driver's License or State

- Examinees
must pre-register and pre-pay by coming
by the Testing Center in Athens on the
designated registration date for the exam date
they wish to take.
- If payment is
mailed in or made at the Palestine campus,
confirmation of a reserved seat for the next
upcoming test will be made by phone (*if
registering in Palestine, please realize that
until the registration form and payment is
received in Athens, you do not have a
confirmed spot for a testing date until you hear
from the Testing Center by phone), so please
include a daytime number where you can be
reached.

the Thursday before the week they plan to test

Texas issued driver's license or identification
card and social security card need to be
brought at that time. The only other
acceptable IDs for photo identification are a US
Military ID or a valid passport.
