Student Support Services has provided tutoring for students at TVCC (formerly Henderson County Junior College) since 1973.

Countless students have received help in areas ranging from algebra and calculus to drafting.

In addition to individual and group tutoring, Student Support Services can provide assistance with note-taking and other academic tasks for special needs students.

Tutors have prepared and presented Study Skills Seminars on topics such as "How To Take the TASP", "How to Do A Research Paper" and the Fall 2002 TVCC "Career-A-Rama", held in conjunction with the Continuing Education Department.
