Welcome! We are glad you are here and hope you come to love Athens and TVCC as much as we do!

 Well the Christmas Season is upon us. I love this time of year. We are half way through the 2009 - 2010 NIRA Rodeo season. After a winter break we will be back busy as ever (which is how we like it) with the second annual TVCC Rodeo. Hopefully everyone will have a safe trip and a great time in the Athens area.  We are looking forward to welcoming a few new faces to the TVCC Rodeo Family in Jan. We have enjoyed listening to all the great things that the members learned at the various rodeo schools they attended over the Thanksgiving Break. We are so blessed to have such amazing stock contractors such as Stace Smith, Pete Carr and Lynn Bottoms (Hat Brand Rodeo Company) right here in our own backyard. I know several went to Wes Stevenson's school, benefiting the Justin Crisis Fund, which was held in nearby Mesquite, Texas and several of our women went to Cash Myer's Roping school which was here in Athens. Overall it sounds like everyone had a good restful holiday, and it is a good thing because we plan to hit the ground running in 2010. Have a Blessed holiday season! Surprise someone who isn't expecting it with a call or visit, tell them how much you love and appreciate them.

The rodeo Team consists of 6 men and 4 women individually and cumulatively earning points towards a place in the College National Finals Rodeo, the Super Bowl of College Rodeo, held in Casper, Wyoming in June. The top two teams in each region and the top three individuals in each event earn a spot in the CNFR. The rodeo team for each rodeo is chosen by the College’s Rodeo Coach.
