My name is Brent Bratton. I was born on October 12, 1967, in Brady, Texas. I grew up in Brazoria, Texas where I began participating in TYRA and YRA rodeos. I started professionally training horses at the age of 16. After graduating from high school, I moved to Huntsville and attended Sam Houston State University. While in college, I competed in NIRA rodeos and open rodeos in roping events and was a member of the Delta Tau Alpha National Agriculture Honor Society. After earning my Master’s Degree, I spent some time working on ranches breaking horses, training, showing and breeding horses. I spent 12 years serving on the board of the Sam Houston State University Alumni Rodeo Association. I worked for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice where I spent 16 years managing 150 broodmares, 9 stallions and breaking colts. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys, Tye and Milo. I also enjoy working on old tractors, wagons and roping. I look forward to the challenges, accomplishments and relationships that I will encounter this year. Brent
