Learning Outcomes

TVCC has a long history of caring for students and student learning; however, there has not been a process in place to systematically document student learning across the institution.  TVCC is now embarking on a discussion of how to accomplish this.  There are many things that will be forthcoming as a result of our campus discussions regarding student learning.  These include examples of student learning outcomes statements, a discussion of why grades aren't enough, an overview of how to document of learning outcomes enhancement TVCC, methods that can be used to assess student learning, and much more.

Administrative Outcomes

TVCC has a history of engaging in a planning and evaluation process that has included the establishment, implementation, measurement, and improvement of administrative outcomes.  The Office of Institutional Effectiveness is working to place documentation of these activities online.  Until this project is completed, a copy of each planning unit's report is available through the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
