Credo Reference
Credo Reference is a general reference database which provides full-text content covering every major subject from some of the world’s best publishers of reference materials. Includes a federated search feature which will allow users to search many of the library’s databases with one search entry.

Salem Literature
Salem Literature provides online access to specific literary works and authors, including Death of a Salesman, Dracula, Great Expectations, The Great Gatsby, The Handmaid’s Tale, The Joy Luck Club, To Kill a Mockingbird, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, A Streetcar Named Desire, and The Tales of Edgar Allan Poe.

Marshall Cavendish Digital
A digital collection of reference works on a variety of topics. Titles include Diseases and Disorders, Drugs and Society, Earth and Physical Sciences, Facts About Drugs, Family Health, Gods, Goddesses, and Mythology, Great Writers of the Modern Era, Life Sciences, Open for Debate, and Supreme Court Milestones.

Points of View Reference Center:
Full-text database designed to provide students with a series of essays that present multiple sides of a current issue. This database also contains the Video Encyclopedia of the 20th Century, providing students with a searchable collection of some of the most important social, political, and cultural moments of the 20th century.

Galenet:
Features newspaper articles, literary criticism, biographical and bibliographic information on authors and a health reference center. Also includes the Texas Almanac and a genealogy index.

 
Grove Music Online includes the full text of the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, the New Grove Dictionary of Opera, and the New Grove Dictionary of Jazz. In addition, Grove Music Online includes 50,000 articles, search and browse capabilities, Sibelius-enabled musical examples, and links to musical sites.
 
Heritage Quest Online:
Combines digital, searchable images of U.S. federal census records. This online database is an essential collection of unique material for both genealogical and historical researchers, with coverage dating back to the late 1700s. Researchers can find their ancestors, trace their paths across America, and learn what life was like in the areas where they settled.

Facts on File Reference Suite:
Contains multiple databases related to world events, international news and the latest scientific developments, also including the Issues and Controversies Database.

Political Research:
Includes Taylor's Encyclopedia of Government Officials: Federal and State and Clements Encyclopedia of World Government

LION:
Features literary criticisms, in depth author information, and texts of select literary works.

JSTOR:
JSTOR is a full-text database that includes journals in economics, history, political science, and sociology, as well as in other key fields in the humanities and social sciences. This collection also contains titles in ecology, mathematics, and statistics. Overall, there are 119 titles in fifteen disciplines.

Salem History
Salem History is a robust online database that includes the complete content of the Milestone Document series, The Decades, and Great Lives from History.


Salem Health
Salem Health brings online access to Salem Press’ award-winning health reference works including Magill’s Medical Guide.


Global Road Warrior
The Global Road Warrior covers 175 countries. Each country listing includes key facts (people, economy, climate, holidays), communications, and cultural “crib sheets” on greetings and courtesies, decision-making, business meetings, women in business, and socializing.


H.W. Wilson
The Wilson Databases include The Art Museum Image Gallery, Biography Reference Bank Full Text Select, and  Book Review Digest Plus.  The Art Museum Image Gallery is an online collection of high-quality, digital documentation of works of art from around the world.  Biography Reference Bank Full Text contains biographical information on approximately half a million people, from antiquity to the present, along with thousands of images.  Book Review Digest Plus brings together the rich data of Book Review Digest, which includes descriptive summaries of books as well as excerpts of book reviews, with all the book review citations and full text of book reviews from eleven other H. W. Wilson indexes.


Handbook of Texas:
Multidisciplinary encyclopedia of Texas history, geography, and culture. It comprises more than 23,000 articles on people, places, events, historical themes, institutions, and a host of other topic categories.

LearnATest:
Provides practice tests for THEA, GED, ACT, SAT, GRE, ASVAB, EMT, Nurse Aide/Nursing Assistant, and many others.

NetLibrary:
Provides access to electronic books which can be checked out through an online account

Tutorials:
Provides access to PowerPoint presentations on Library Tour, Health Source Nursing, LION Literature Online, Searching the EBSCO Database and Searching Academic Search Premier

The portable document format (PDF) requires Adobe Reader®.  Adobe Reader is available free of charge from Adobe.  You may download the it here.  Once you have downloaded the latest version of Adobe Reader you can access a PDF document.
