OPEN LEARNING LAB WEBSITE

Welcome to the TVCC Open Learning Lab website.  The Open Learning Lab is the creation of the Learning Initiative, and has been designed to assist students with learning and study strategies in their college courses.  Open Learning Labs are located on the Athens, Palestine, and Terrell Campuses.

For schedules of times when a faculty member in a content area will be available in the Learning Lab to assist you, please look over the lab schedules for each campus.  If you need assistance, drop by the lab during operating hours or email the Learning Lab Coordinator

PODS (Professionals Offering Departmental Study Sessions)

PODS offer support for students in set study sessions at locations other than the Learning Lab.  Check the PODS Schedule for planned sessions on the Athens Campus

Great Explanations

Faculty will be submitting "Great Explanations" to the Learning Initiative Office in the near future.  These are supplemental materials that will be available in the Learning Lab or posted to this website for students to access at any time.  These will focus on things that students have specific difficulty with in their coursework.
