Freshman orientation is an opportunity for new, incoming freshmen to get a head start on college.
Our summer orientation programs allow beginning students to learn about the multitude of services that are available to them as TVCC cardinals. They also have an opportunity to visit with current, more experienced sophomores to get some advice about making the most of their time at Trinity Valley. These peer leaders are trained to explain the positive aspects of college life and also to help new students avoid some of the pitfalls that students often encounter.
Another advantage to attending a freshman orientation session is the ability to meet our wonderful faculty and staff. Trained faculty advisors will work one-on-one with the student to determine the best schedule of courses for the new freshman in their respective major.
In addition to all this the student can register for fall classes at the time of the program!!!!
We have found that our best students and our future campus leaders typically come from the group of students that attends summer orientation.
So get all the pre-admissions work done so that you can participate with us.
