Federal Work-Study

• Must have complete, processed FAFSA application on file

• Campus-based funds – awards based on availability of funds (first come, first serve);

• Available to undergraduate students enrolled in at least 6 semester hours;

• Students usually work between 10-19 hours per week
   

•  Provides part-time employment for minimum wage in
  *community service areas
  *reading and math tutor programs
  *various departments of the college

Texas Work-Study

• Must be a TEXAS resident
• Must have complete, processed FAFSA application on file
• Campus-based funds – awards based on availability of funds (first come, first serve);
• Available to undergraduate students enrolled in at least 6 semester hours;
• Students usually work between 10-19 hours per week
• Provides part-time employment for minimum wage in
        *community service areas
        *reading and math tutor programs
        *various departments of the college

Institutional Work-Study

• Must be ineligible for Federal and Texas Work-Study
• Must be enrolled in at least 6 hours
• A partial list of departments with possible institutional work-study funds is as follows:
     *Campus Police, Financial Aid, Information Technology (IT) Learning
       Resource Center (LRC - Library), Maintenance, Media, Registrar, and
       School Relations
