Exams: Five 100 point tests (including a comprehensive final exam), approximately evenly spaced throughout the semester will be given. There are no makeup tests for any reason! The comprehensive final exam may count twice, replacing the lowest previous test score as well as counting in its own right. (The final exam grade may not replace the homework grade as described below.)
Homework: Homework will be assigned for most class meetings and will be accepted for full credit at any time on the due date. Homework which is late but turned in by the time of the unit test on that material will receive reduced credit (10 points off for each class period it is late). No HW will be accepted after the test for that unit! You must turn it in by the day of the test, or you will receive a zero. The lowest homework score will be dropped before a percent correct is calculated. This homework percent will then count as a test grade toward the final grade. All HW will be completed on your own paper, and then the answers will be entered on Course Compass for grading.
You will keep a notebook of all of your work which will be periodically checked.
Attendance: It will be the sole responsibility of the student to track attendance for this class, and I will not drop any student who fails to attend. If you want to drop this course, it will be your responsibility to do so.

NO GRAPHING CALCULATORS WILL BE ALLOWED
