Devl 0304.1427 – Coffield
Instructor: Nancy Long
Exams: Three 100-point tests,
approximately evenly spaced throughout the semester and a
comprehensive Final Exam will be given. Any test, which you
do not pass (with 70% or better), must be repeated on a new
version of the test. All work necessary to solve the
problems on homework or tests must be shown on the paper you
submit.
Homework: Homework will be assigned
for most class meetings and you should ask questions at the
beginning of each class about any problems from the previous
assignment with which you need help. Homework on each unit
will be turned in with your test on the test day for that
unit. You will receive one bonus point on you test grade
for each section you successfully complete and turn in on
test day. A successful homework assignment has all assigned
problems worked and all necessary steps on each problem
shown with no more than 3 errors.
Grading: Students will need the
following totals to receive the respective final grades
A 360 – 400
B 320 – 359
C 280 – 319
Attendance: Any student who misses
three or more class meetings might be dropped from class for
excessive absence.
