    6. DEVELOP A SIMPLE, FIVE-DAY LUNCH MENU FOR A KINDERGARTEN CHILD WHO IS ALLERGIC TO MILK, MILK PRODUCTS, CHOCOLATE AND EGGS.

 

    7. WHAT ARE THREE FACTORS THAT ARE ESSENTIAL FOR AN INFECTION TO BE COMMUNICABLE? (Provide 2 or 3 paragraphs of information on each topic)

 

    8. FIND THE IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS FOR CHILDREN ATTENDING CHILD CARE OR PUBLIC SCHOOL PROGRAMS IN TEXAS. (This information can be found online at the web site of the Texas Department of Regulatory Services in the Child Care licensing section)  COPY THE INFORMATION AND ATTACH IT TO YOUR HOMEWORK.

    NOTE: MY CONTINUING EDUCATION DEPARTMENT TEACHES MANY ENTRY LEVEL MEDICAL CLASSES FOR ADULTS. WE FIND THAT MANY ADULTS DO NOT HAVE COPIES OF THEIR OWN IMMUNIZATION RECORDS FROM WHEN THEY WERE A CHILD. I SUGGEST THAT ALL ADULTS KEEP THESE RECORDS FOR THEMSELVES AS WELL AS THEIR CHILDREN. TO HAVE TO RETAKE ALL OF THESE IMMUNIZATIONS FOR CAREER PURPOSES OR OTHER REASONS IS VERY TROUBLESOME AND EXPENSIVE. THIS IS A RECORD THAT SHOULD REMAIN WITH YOU FOR A LIFETIME. (Attach the requirements. Provide about ½ page of discussion related to immunizations)

 

    9. OBTAIN A COPY OF THE OSHA REGULATIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR IMPLEMENTING A BLOOD BORNE PATHOGEN POLICY (CFR 1910.1030). THIS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE ON LINE.  PREPARE A WRITTEN COMPLIANCE PLAN FOR A HEAD START PROGRAM.
