MID-TERM RESEARCH PAPER
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR RESEARCH PAPER

 

GENERAL:

bulletDue date:  They are to be in my office on March 22
bulletThe topic should be pre approved.  If you haven’t already selected a topic, do so soon.  Topics that aren't approved run the risk of being too narrow or too broad.  The approval process is to assist you.  It is not a requirement.
bulletThe paper must be 10 to 15 pages in length.  (Typed)
bulletUse standard 12 font size
bulletUse standard 1" margins.
bulletDouble space.
bulletYou can include support documents, but they do not count in the total pages required.
bulletThe paper must have endnotes which list exactly how to find all of your resources.  (One of your resources can be an interview of a professional in the filed of your paper, if you choose) The paper must have a cover sheet with:
bulletYour name
bulletThe title of your paper
bulletThe class number – TECA 1318
bulletAnd semester – Spring 2004
bulletYour phone number
bulletAnd your email address.
bulletSAVE A COPY OF YOUR PAPER in case it gets lost in the shuffle.
bulletStaple the paper on the left hand side with at least 3 staples.  (Do not put it in a binder.  Let’s don’t waste your money.)

 

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR PAPER: 

bulletSend  or bring a HARD COPY to my office, Room 118 in the TVCC Administration Bldg., send it via postal service, UPS, Federal Express, etc.  Or, bring a copy to my office—Room 118 in the Administration Building,
 
bulletI must receive your hard copy.  I cannot print the hundred’s of pages of documents that would be required if I printed everyone’s from email.

 

IF YOU WANT YOUR HARD COPY PAPER BACK: 

bulletEnclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope in with your paper.  Be sure to include enough postage.  It is not necessary for you to enclose this material if you do not want your paper returned.
