An introduction to accounting in which the principles of double-entry bookkeeping will be studied. Emphasis is placed on journalizing, posting to ledger accounts, trial balances, financial statements, adjusting entries, and closing entries. |

There will be 3 major exams. The 3rd major exam will be considered the final exam. There will also be assigned problems from the working papers. |

Major Exams will consists of a written test (which will be multiple choice) and a problem test (problems will be similar to those in the text and assigned problems). |

Assigned Problems will come from the working papers and text. The problems for each chapter will be due on the test day for those chapters. |
