An introduction to accounting in which the principles of double-entry bookkeeping will
be studied. Emphasis is placed on journalizing, posting to ledger accounts, trial
balances, financial statements, adjusting entries, and closing entries.

Methods of Evaluation
There will be 3 major exams. The 3rd major exam will be considered the final exam.
There will also be assigned problems from the working papers.

Major Exams will consists of a written test (which will be multiple choice) and
a problem test (problems will be similar to those in the text and assigned problems).
Assigned Problems will come from the working papers and text. The problems for
each chapter will be due on the test day for those chapters.
