Weekly Assignments and Unit Tests

 

 

UNIT 4 - ASSESSMENTS

 

All assessments will be graded on the number of errors and the formatting. Refer to back of the book on p. 972-973 for the standard formatting for a letter and memo.

 

Each assessment will be worth 5 points. Proofread your assessments carefully. For each error, ½ of a point will be deducted.

 

When an assessment is complete, put your name, chapter number, and assessment number in a footer on the first page of each assessment. Save each assessment.

 

Submit your assessments to your instructor, through the WebCT site. Save them to your computer. Then from within the WebCT site, submit the assignments following the "Submitting Assignments" procedure. Submit assignments on a WEEKLY BASIS, don’t wait until the end of the unit to submit all the assignments. Check calendar for due dates.

The theory checkup is in the “Theory Checkups” icon on the homepage. You may use your book when taking the Checkup.

 

NOTE:  You only get one attempt and there is a 75 minute limit. So make sure you have allotted at least 75 minutes to complete the theory checkup because if you exit, you will NOT be allowed access to the checkup a second time.  Also, you have to answer a question or skip it before getting the next question. You are not allowed to return to a question once it is answered or skipped.

2.     Theory Checkup – UNIT 6

 

The theory checkup is in the “Theory Checkups” icon on the homepage. This test will be proctored, so you will have to go to the Athens campus or to one of the other campus sites that is nearest to you to take this checkup.  Refer to the syllabus to get the email address or telephone number of the testing proctor so you can make an appointment if necessary. VCT students will go to the testing center of the college they are enrolled in to take the checkup.
