BIOL 2401 NEWS:

Classes begin on Monday (August 30).

Lecture Test # 1 will cover material from Chapters 1 and 2 and is tentatively scheduled for September 15th.

Cates is teaching three 2401 lectures (MW 8:00, 9:20 and 12:15) and one 2401 lab (MW 10:50) this semester

REMEMBER: The "lecture" is meant to be a REVIEW of (not an introduction to) the most important concepts of the chapter.     AND ... any handouts in class are meant to guide your reading of the textbook
rather than prevent it .

BIOL 2402 NEWS:

Cates is not teaching 2402 this semester

BIOL 2404 NEWS:

Class begins on Monday (August 30).

Please check your eCourse on Monday for assignments and instructions.

Remember the "Guided Reading" questions are NOT an assignment.  They constitute the material from which the lecture tests will be composed.  All the lecture test material is directly from the textbook.

Pictures to Ignore:
(seriously they're not serious at all)

(Trivia: Isn't it true that the ONLY classroom sketch in any major Marx Brothers movie was the A&P class in Horsefeathers? ... "I think my students will bear me out.")
