Cherie Henson,
Speech Communication &
Public Speaking InstructorTVCC-Terrell
BA, MS from the University of Southwestern Louisiana - Geaux Cajuns!!
I've been teaching speech
communication and debate at the high school and college levels for 20 years. I also coached state and national,
award-winning, high school speech & debate teams.
I LOVE teaching! I've considered changing careers several
times, but have never figured out another that I would enjoy! I LOVE teaching communication courses, because
I learn so much about different cultures, and through the speeches, but mostly
because I can help others better their communication skills!
I teach several SPCH options:
SPCH 1311 - Fundamentals of
Speech Communication
SPCH 1321 - Business &
Professional Speaking
SPCH 1315 - Public Speaking
(traditional and online course)
