What better way to honor or memorialize someone than through a visual piece of art that is permanently displayed for the public to view?

The Tree of Opportunity & Excellence brass sculpture is prominently displayed in the front lobby of the Orval Pirtle Administration Building on the Athens campus of TVCC, as a visual tribute to those who have pledged support for the TVCC Foundation. Each engraved leaf on the tree and each engraved stone below the tree represents a contribution to the Foundation. Each gift to the Foundation serves in perpetual honor to those united in our mission of offering every opportunity for future students who seek a college education.
