The Nail Tech Technology program provides
students the opportunity to learn the basic manipulation and theoretical
skills necessary to become a licensed nail technician. The program
provides 600 clock hours of instruction over a 16-week semester. The
program is available in the fall semester and spring semester. Students
may register for the program during the fall registration and spring
registration. Students will receive 16 semester credit hours upon
successful completion of the program. Upon completion of 600 clock hours,
graduates will contain the necessary theory and basic skills to pass the
State Board Examination for manicure certification and entry level
employment as a nail technician. The program is located on the Athens
Campus.
