Auditions
The student should prepare Two(2) one-minute monologues
that show the actor’s ability to play two different characters.
A headshot and resume are encouraged but not required.
Technical Auditions
The student should prepare a portfolio of technical work and
a resume which highlights the various types of
technical work.
Locations
The department auditions at various locations throughout the
year.
An audition may be scheduled at TVCC at any time.
Students
who have been seen in a UIL OAP workshop, contest or festival
are NOT required to audition.
Scholarships are dependent upon an
audition for the department.

Note
All monies
are rewarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Once a
student’s file is complete, then an award letter will be
processed.
Auditions should be planned so that they are
completed by March 15th along with financial aid.
