Remote Access to TVCC Libraries

Go to the TVCC homepage and click on “Libraries”.

(This will take you to www.tvcc.edu/lrc)

To access databases for research, click on “Research”. This will take you to a list of electronic databases with a short description of each one. Click on the database you need to use and follow the directions given on the page that comes up to log in. TVCC students will use a combination of their name, initials, date of birth and last four digits of their social security numbers, as explained in the instructions, to log in. Students who are enrolled as VCT students can log in as follows:

Username: vctstu

Password: dtf2006 (This password changes every semester; contact your instructor or the LRC for the current one.)

To search the library’s holdings in the online catalog, click on “LRC Catalogs” from the main library page. Click on “Distance Learning Students” or choose a campus. This will take you to the catalog of library holdings.
