You should know:

· Unlike some online courses, this is an INSTRUCTOR-PACED course with weekly deadlines.

· There is a MANDATORY orientation for this course on Monday, 9/10/07.

· There are four required speeches in this course that you can choose to deliver on-campus or tape and mail to the instructor.

· You must have reliable access to a computer with internet access.
You need sufficient computer skills to navigate WebCT and complete assignments.

· Speech Delivery Options:
- come to Terrell campus (4 Monday nights). If you prefer to come to campus to deliver your speeches, make sure you do NOT schedule another Monday night class.
OR
- you can tape your speeches and mail in for grading. (you will need access to necessary taping equipment)
