This is a continuation of the history course
surveying American growth, world conflicts, and the emergence of the

this class is organized
This is a web based course, but it is not
self-paced. Students are required to
log onto the class web site weekly to upload projects and to participate in
discussing the critical thinking question of the week. Exam questions may come from the book,
materials uploaded by the instructor, or from the critical thinking questions
discussed on the class web site.
All Exams will be proctored and the student
is responsible for providing an alternative to using the

Exams:
I will provide an optional comprehensive
final exam which may be substituted for a missing exam grade. This will be
available during final exam week.
Extra
Credit:
There will be several opportunities to
earn extra credit. These optional assignments will be posted throughout the
semester and will be worth a total of 100 points which is 10% of the final
grade.

All students are responsible for reading and
heeding the section “Academic Regulations” in the 2006 edition of the TVCC
Catalog. Simply put, do not cheat.
