2011 FORT WORTH STOCK SHOW

Trinity Valley Community College participated in the 2011 Fort Worth Stock Show. The TVCC Beef Cattle Show Team was involved in the Open Charolais Cattle division of the show on January 29^th. Awards received this year include:

Marc Robinson:  The six TVCC agriculture and ranch management students listed above did an awesome job preparing for and showing the college’s show cattle at the Fort Worth Stock Show. The team worked hard during the Christmas holidays to keep the cattle in good condition as well as the hair on the cattle in show condition and it paid off winning one division title and two reserve division titles and placing high in other classes at the Open Charolais Cattle Show at the Fort Worth Stock Show. In addition, I received several compliments from other cattle breeders on how well the college cattle looked overall and that we had a great group of students representing us.

2010 FOUR STATES FAIR AND RODEO RESULTS

Trinity Valley Community College participated in the 2010 Four States Fair Livestock Show in Texarkana, AR. Trinity Valley Community College Beef Cattle Show Team was involved in the Open Charolais Cattle division of the show on September 20^th. Awards received this year include:

We got off to a very good start at our first show with all of the show team members working together very well in preparing and fitting the cattle for show. Winning a little at Four States made for a very nice first show as well. TVCC Beef Cattle Show Team supporters, Jimmy and Cherrie Curtis of Texarkana, Texas, treated the team to a meal at Ta Molley’s restaurant on Sunday evening.  They are wonderful people and great supporters of our team.
