HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW AND RODEO RESULTS Trinity Valley Community College was very successful while recently participating in the 2009 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The TVCC Beef Cattle Show Team was involved in the Open Charolais Cattle division of the show on March 8, 2009. Our students performed extremely well. The students worked very hard for three days to win the good herdsman award. This was the 9th year in a row our show team has won this prestigious award. The competitors have to keep their area perfectly clean at all times and their cattle perfectly groomed as well as have a nice looking display and demonstrate courtesy to all who come by. Sponsor, Marc Robinson: I am very proud of this spring show team. They had the cattle in very good condition, well clipped and fitted for the show. They also worked extremely well together and received many compliments on the way they represented TVCC as individuals and as a team.
STATE FAIR OF LOUISIANA Trinity Valley Community College participated in the 2008 State Fair of Louisiana Livestock Show in Shreveport, LA. Trinity Valley Community College Beef Cattle Show Team was involved in the Open Charolais Cattle division of the show on October 30.
