HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW AND RODEO

Trinity Valley Community College was very successful while recently participating in the 2007 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The TVCC Beef Cattle Show Team was involved in the Open Charolais Cattle division of the show on March 4, 2007. 

Awards received this year include:

1st Charolais Division Good Herdsman Award (This is the 7th year straight to win this award.)

FORT WORTH STOCK SHOW

Trinity Valley Community College was successful while recently participating in the 2007 Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show (Ft. Worth Stock Show) at Fort Worth Texas. The TVCC Beef Cattle Show Team was involved in the Open Charolais Cattle division of the show on January 29, 2007.  This years Ft. Worth show was classified as a “Class A Roll of Excellence Show” by the American International Charolais Association. Class A shows generate more AICA points for the winners as well as more prize money. This classification encouraged many breeders from other states to come to Ft. Worth to enter the Charolais show this year. The competition was very tough this year. Awards received this year include:
