Non-Credit students have the opportunity to participate in college credit classes without going through the process for enrolling in credit courses.
The Continuing Education Division works closely with the credit programs to offer a credit course for students who want the knowledge from the class, but do not want the college credit. "Credit" classes taken for non-credit experience are offered through the TVCC Learning for Living Academy.
Learning for Living students are required to meet all course prerequisites as specified in the college catalog or have special permission to enroll in the class. Students are expected to attend class regularly, complete assignments, and participate in class. Some credit classes are blocked to non-credit students. Some classes require teacher approval. A list of the classes offered can be found in the TVCC Credit Schedule from the TVCC Home Page.
