J Pond - Offensive Line/Strength & Conditioning Coordinator

Trevor Guyton - Linebackers   Trevor just finished his second season with the Cardinal coaching staff, again in the role of student assistant     working with the linebackers.  Under his tutelage in 2011 linebacker Jermane Longino was named 1st Team All-American, SWJCFC Defensive Player Of The Year and 1st Team All-Conference.  Trevor has been instrumental in the success of the Cardinal defenses in 2010 and 2011.  The 2011 defense led the SWJCFC in total defense and helped pave the way to the 2011 Citizens Bank Bowl, and the 2010 defense helped pave the way into the SWJCFC Championship game where he filled in as secondary coach after medical emergencies vacated positions during the season.  Trevor graduated from Trinity Valley with his Associates of Arts degree in the spring of 2010, and is continuing his pursuit of a bachelors in kinesiology at the University of Texas at Tyler.  Prior to Trinity Valley, Trevor spent the 2009 season at Dodge City CC in Dodge City, KS also in the role of student assistant.  A native of Terrell, Trevor graduated from Terrell HS in the spring of 2008 where he lettered on the offensive line for the Tigers.
