TVCC Athletes Help With Special Olympics

Cardinal football players and coaches along with basketball players and student senate members recently cheered on athletes at the Special Olympics Games in Malakoff, Texas.

The Special Olympic Games are an annual event each year with athletes from around Henderson County competing. The Cardinals did everything from running with the torch, to helping out at events and even running in some of the events.

Cardinals Head Football Coach Brad Smiley served as the official presenter of the medals.
