Cardinals Prepare For Scout Day

Spring football is a big deal around The Valley.

For the past four weeks Brad Smiley and his coaching staff have been implementing a new offense and defense the Cardinals will be using this upcoming fall. In the process they have had some very competitive spring workouts that will culminate April 26 with their annual Scout Day.

This is a day the players get to shine for over 50 major college recruiters at Bruce Field. On that day coaches will put the team through one-on-one, seven-on-seven and team drills.

Recruiters get to take an early look at the talent The Valley has for their ’08 recruiting season. Players also get to talk with recruiters to get a feel of where they would like to advance their playing career.
