Services we provide:
The Trinity Valley Community College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) provides the tools and resources necessary to help businesses compete in an increasingly challenging economy. We offer free business consulting and affordable training seminars designed to help you attract customers, improve operations, increase sales, and successfully access capital. The purpose of the TVCC/SBDC is to promote economic and community development in our five county service area of Anderson, Kaufman, Henderson, Rains and Van Zandt.  We work with established and start-up businesses, as well as with individuals who are planning to go into business.

The SBDC offers free and confidential one-on-one counseling on business startup, loans and financing, financial statement analysis, marketing, accounting and recordkeeping, sales, advertising, business planning and management. Opportunities for business growth, government contracting, exporting, market expansion and new emerging technologies can be explored. Counseling services are available for both start-up and existing businesses in retail, wholesale, manufacturing and service.

The SBDC provides instruction on both general and specific business topics. Courses range from introductory topics for those planning to start a business to more advanced seminars aimed at the experienced small business owner.

The SBDC has access to a wide range of information through resources such as the SBDCNet, SBA on-line, and various other on-line data bases. Through these resources, the SBDC can help you locate hard-to-find information vital to your business success through data base searches and access to vast research libraries.
