How will I know if the college is closed because of inclement weather? How will I know if there is an emergency situation on campus?

TVCC Alert! It’s how you’ll know.

TVCC has implemented a state-of-the-art notification system that is capable of sending emergency notifications instantly and simultaneously to all registered mobile phones, wireless PDAs, pagers, smartphones, satellite phones, and e-mail addresses. The new system, called TVCC Alert, is also capable of posting these alerts on the TVCC web site as well as Twitter, facebook, iGoogle, MyAOL, and My Yahoo! pages.

This will be the surest way for you to receive notifications critical to your safety and well being as well as other campus info you may want to OPT-IN and receive. Simply click on the link below, which will take you directly to the TVCC Alert sign up form. Have your cell phone with you and on, as you’ll need it to complete registration.

Be among the first to know when the college is closed due to inclement weather. Once you register and verify your cell phone number a text message will be sent directly to your cell phone when a campus closure is announced.
