Study Tips
My two cents worth:
First, be honest with yourself. If you do not know why you are here, or are not serious about being in college, then you are smart enough at least to know what the inevitable result will be. You are here of your own free will. No one is forcing you to be here. College is about personal growth. You should expect and demand to see and hear information you have never seen before. College is not easy. If it was, there would be no growth.
No one owes you a grade or a college degree, you must earn it. To do that you must make a conscious decision to make an effort at it. No one can make that decision for you. Most students have to learn how to study for college, your study habits from high school probably will not work here. Once you have made the decision to give it your best effort, then you will ready to apply some of the study skills mentioned on the next page.
