The Trinity Valley Community College Rodeo Team allows students who are involved in the sport of rodeo to continue the pursuit of their rodeo goals while achieving sound academic goals. We offer competition opportunities on men’s and women’s teams under the guidance of a full-time coach. The TVCC Rodeo Team also:

  • Encourages rodeo athletes to remain in school and reach graduation

  • Provides programs and activities that enhance a
    student’s learning, growth and development.

  • Brings positive attention to the TVCC Rodeo Team
in order to gain support of students, faculty and the community.

  • Provides rodeo scholarships

  • Provides practice facilities for both rough stock
    and timed events

  • Have our own weight room located in the Agriculture building

  • Provides travel money

  • Video tapes practices and college rodeos

Trinity Valley competes in the Southern Region. It consists of Central and East Texas and Western Louisiana. There are approximately 20 member schools competing in our region with an average of 350 contestants per rodeo, and 10 college rodeos per year.
