one of the most explosive offenses in the
nation, finishing 6th in the NJCAA in Total

10th in the NJCAA in Passing Offense. J coached
four members of the All-SWJCFC team,

Coach Pond came to Athens after spending the previous
two seasons at Sul Ross State University.
While with the Lobos, Coach Pond coached the
offensive line and held the titles of recruiting
coordinator and director of strength and
conditioning. In his two seasons in Alpine,
TX, the Lobos offensive line led the way for one
of the American Southwest Conference's most
potent rushing attacks.
An alumnus of The
Fighting Texas A&M Aggies (2002-2006), J earned a Bachelor
of Science in
Sports Management. J also holds a Masters

2006. He still holds a number of lifting titles
at A&M and was selected to participate in the
Night of Champions where he broke the school
record in the power clean with a weight of 470
